Details

The Steampunk Gaslight is a staggeringly eye-catching cufflinks (or ring) chest. Nothing else like it. This meaty box is as much a work of art as a functional storage box. Each is crafted from solid pine with a genuine reclaimed wood finish and richly adorned with iron metalwork. Thick, solid, heavy walled construction, substantial metal pipe design and gears adorning the exterior, and iron hardware and rivets on all four vertical edges. The interior is soft brown velvet with lift-out tray with capacity for 72 pair of cufflinks, or even more rings.

This hefty 8 lb. box will induce shock & awe, and look resplendent in home or office. The picture doesn’t do it justice.

About Steampunk
Steampunk originated in 19th century Britain, with envisioned futuristic technology crafted in Victorian-era style and forms. This genre is predominant in late 1800’s works of science fiction and fantasy such as Jules Verne and HG Welles novels, in addition to contemporary films such Sherlock Holmes, League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, and Hugo. Today the Steampunk aesthetic blends form and function, infusing everyday items with a distinct look-and-feel by melding nautical elements and anachronistic “throw-back” technology such as brass gears, steam-powered locomotive elements, gas lamps, airships, clockworks, and analog gauges, often with iron, wood, and leather features.
